Industrial Training at Reliance-Dahanu Thermal Power Station(DTPS)

B.Tech Electrical V^th semester students of EPE Dept. successfully completed their Internship Training Program on 30^th Dec’2016, at Dahanu Thermal Power Station, CEA Approved Dahanu Technical Training Centre at Dahanu, Palghar- Maharashtra.

During the nine days training program experts from the plant familiarized the students on different sections of Thermal Power Plant Generation with theory as well as practical aspects & actions done in day to day activities in various departments. The students also got an opportunity to get hands on experience of basic fire safety instinct demonstrations.

Apart from technical sessions our students also got the opportunity to get exposure on management and financial terminologies and policies linked with power generation and transmission.

The students were also taken to Kelwa Beach as a sight-seeing for a brief leisure activity.

The internship concluded with a test conducted for the students by the Reliance Technical Team and certificate distribution by Mr. Dinesh Mantri (Additional Vice-President, DTPS).
