Industrial Training at ROSA Thermal Power Plant

 The Internship Training Program of B. Tech Power System Engineering V^th semester students of EPE Dept. is in progress. The Simulator Training on 350MW Sub-critical Thermal Power Plant is being conducted at Rosa Thermal Power Plant- Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. located in Shahjahanpur, U.P.

The training program focuses on various processes of the plant for synchronization of the thermal set and its specific problems. Apart from the one week simulator training, a three day program will also be conducted for the students concentrating on the maintenance aspects of the Thermal Power Plant in which the training highlights the following areas

·         Condition Monitoring of Equipment

·         HT/LT Switchgears

·         Switchyard equipment arrangement

·         Boiler and Turbine area Plant Visit

The entire class of students has been divided into various batches each accompanied by a faculty member. The training commenced on 12^th Dec’16 and will be concluding with the last batch on 15^th Jan’17.
