Guest Lecture on Project and Financial Management has been Organized.

A guest lecture for the students of M Tech ES and M Tech REE has been organized. 

Mr. Sumanta Kausik Sharma has been invited to deliver the lecture on Project and Financial Management. His area of expertise are

·       Project Finance & Structuring

·       Bid Process Management 

·      Financial Modeling & Valuation

·       Business Development 

     Presently Mr. Sumanta is working as a consultant in Department of Economic Affair, Government of India.

He has Received “Taking Charge” award from IDFC in first quarter of FY 2015 for ensuring successful commissioning of 30 Solar Street Lights and also delivering high profile program at very low cost and in time period of 2 months from bidding to completion in Mawlynnong, Meghalaya with IDFC CSR Funds through IDFC Foundation.

In this lecture Mr. Sumantha has enlighten the students about the Project Management and help them to understand the methodology to write a good detail project report. He also focused on the financial aspects of the project and explained the concept of Financial Analysis with respect to the requirement of the respective firms. He focused on the standards of report as mandated by the Government of India for submitting a DPR's.

     This lecture has proved to be very useful for the students as outcome of this lecture helps the students to understand the methodology of Detail Project Report writing and how it will help them in their carrier.
