Guest Lecture

A guest lecture on “Internet of things in Electrical Engineering” by Mr. Madhukant Patel MD REVE Automation Gandhinagar Gujrat was organized for B.Tech Electrical V semester and B.Tech PSE V semester students on 16th Nov 2016.

There was  detailed discussion on following topics:

•      IOT in Power
•      Light pull monitoring
•      System Health Monitoring.
•      Usage of data line for data communication
•      Data driven services.
•   Live monitoring of power quality and distribution all across network.

Further there were discussion about energy sources and related issues and enhancing energy generation efficiency.

The lecture was very interesting and knowledgeable for students. They have shown enthusiasm and motivation for understanding the fundamentals of IOT and its application in Electrical and Power System Engineering.
