We are thankful to the parents for making the initiative of Faculty-Parents connect a success. There were a total of 11 parents present.

Warm welcome was given to the parents by the department.

The Program Head (Mr. A.Bose) explained the various activities of the department along with departmental blog. Introduction was followed by a High Tea

Following High Tea, Department Head (Mr.NB Soni) introduced to the parents the following:

• Purpose along with the requirement of the initiative taken for faculty-parent connect
• Introduction to class coordinators, 
• Working of  evaluation criteria such Internal Assessment,Mid semester assessment and External Assessment along with weightage of each assessment in the final evaluation
• The Details of the course coordinator (such mail Id’s and Phone numbers) for respective courses was shared with the parents, so that they can have one touch point for any query.
•  Departmental App was introduced through which the parents can know the overall performance of their child.App will help the parents in continuous performance monitoring.

In the Question and Answer round the parents suggested the following

• Auto generated mail of examination result can be sent to parents.

It was followed by Lunch. After the Lunch the parents personally interacted with department faculties to get updated about the performance of their child.

Overall the parents were satisfied and happy with initiative taken by the department and encouraged to take the initiative in future also.
